Updated: Jul 24

The Division of Education, Research & Technology, in partnership with the Division of Community Development, Youth Development & Sport, alongside the Fernandes Trust, has officially unveiled The A.R.R.O.W. Literacy Project in Tobago!

Crafted by Dr. Colin Lane, this groundbreaking initiative harnesses cutting-edge techniques to revolutionise reading, spelling, and more, through innovative audio-visual multi-sensory methods. 💻 📚

We are delighted to announce that Mason Hall Government Primary School and Bon Accord Government Primary School have been selected as the initial pilot schools for this project. But wait, there's more: Plans are underway for expansion to all Primary Schools in the near future!

At the launch event, attendees had the exclusive opportunity to dive into the technology firsthand, guided by Mr. Christopher Bonterre, Director of the A.R.R.O.W. Foundation, and his dedicated team. In the delivery of the feature address, Secretary of Education, Research and Technology, Assemblyman Zorisha A. Hackett reminded the attendees that “Education is not just about what happens within the walls of our classrooms; it extends far beyond that, encompassing the support of parents, the professional development of educators, and the engagement of the wider community."
